I am not sure, but this may be mine, no definite evidence, but it is the earliest S/N and the right wood.
(The tops are looking sweet too)

That would be great. I think I'm as excited about you getting your guitar as I am about getting mine.

I'm curious as to what the "ZZ" means. Other than bearded guys with extremely limited dance moves that consist of gesturing in unison.

holly

Looks like the ZZ denotes herringbone purfling. Each number that can been seen corresponds to an order with HB purfling.

I believe that's just a cut out to place the H-bone in.

So the rest of it just isn't cut out yet?

Nice pix!  I believe my LS-03R is #108555 (easy to remember) based on the chart posted with me as #59.  Nice!
Play it daily for best results.

I believe there is a double ring that will surround the hearingbone, those pieces you see look to be just spacers (maybe till glue sets)

I'm trying to nail down a flite still, I really do want to go there and see all of them. WOW 78 cool little LS-03 F-III's
I'll be sure to take lots of batteries, or maybe buy a better camera, so I can take a s many as possible.

I swear I am SO tired of being pecked to death by ducks it's all I can do to not pack a bag and leave NOW. I love my family and my dogs but they don't seem to realise I don't exist to cater to them. Anyway, it's too far to drive if Seattle is closest, lol. But lots of pics would be great.

holly

ps. I'll be offline for a couple days, I know, the horror, so you guys email me if something happens. You know, like they cover it with abalone.

Danny,

Flying from Houston to Vancouver is cheaper on Friday night than on Saturday morning. You might want to check it out. Nonstop on Continental for about $400. Friday night through Tuesday. That was though Sam's Club link to Orbitz.

I was gonna make a comment that they could be putting the abalone in the rosette instead of the herringbone, but I thought not.

where are you going?

I'd like that...it would add a bit of sparkle.

WOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOO!!!  According to the list at Larrivee, mine is #108542!  The sides look very nice.  Now I'm getting giddy.  Are they done yet?  Maybe I will be able to take the baby home from the guitar factory tour.  How cool would that be?

Hey,

For all those who are worried that they don't see any pictures of the Hog Top guitars...

This photo looks like a Hog Top.  You can tell the difference between the Italian Spruce and the Hog because the Hog looks a little pink in colour vs. the IS which is a little yellowish.  I'm sure they are in the production process.  There just isn't too many photos of the Hog versions.  Maybe we will see some more Hog photos tomorrow.
