:+1:  Highlights the fact that IMHO, we're getting a VERY fair price on the Forum III's. The typical Italian Spruce upcharge is probably pretty close to the surcharge for the cut away...

Actually, the price difference is not that dramatic.  This LV-03R 12th Fret is $1950 CAD which is the same price for a FG III LSV-03R with the full herringbone.

This is so weird - I posted a year ago about getting one of these (#3) and at that time they still had one left (#4) So either they forgot about it for a whole year or it took them that long to list it on their website!  Here's my original post:

On the 12th fret site they mention that it was just recently discovered in their basement.   Nice find, eh ?
