I've heard a lot of good things about K&K's, though, I am a big fan of LRBaggs.

Well Randy, I've never used anything but the K&K mini and the older Pure Preamp.  It's a very cost effective system.  The PWM is a great little set of sensors and the preamp is external.  Top it off with being able to install the pickup yourself, I have 3 times now...  I've heard the Pure XLR preamp is even nicer.  Might have to look into that one day...  

There are so many good choices for pickups these days.  LR Baggs, Fishman, DTAR, I just went with K&K and still like what I hear.

I installed the K&K PWM in both my OO-50 and L-03R and use them both for live work but I might wait for a while on the FIII.  That might just be for picking at home...on a lazy Sunday afternoon like today...hmm...I can see the end of the OO case from here...

I have a K&K in 2 of mine and they are KILLER for the $$$.  Lest than $100 and you can do it your self....  For the $$ they are king of sound as far as p/u's go....

Where is the picture of the LS 12 fret guitar Denis was just telling me about?  I know it's not exact of what they will look like, but I'd like an idea...I have yet to see what these Forum III's are going to look like.....

Here's the link to Randy's 1975 LS-09 12 fret.  Hope you don't mind Randy  I guess that now the smaller specs have been confirmed, this is the most accurate likeness for size that we have to show.  Beautiful guitar by the way, Randy.

So, the LS is overall smaller than a standard L... I think I saw the dims some time back... Kind of hard to picture.  Smaller than an L and bigegr than a parlor.  Maybe compared to a 00?

I always heard that Itallian spruce and Alpine spruce are the same... I wonder if the Italian spruce they are using is like the Alpine that Martin uses??  If so, it sounds similar to adirondack..
