Gotoh 510's in my D-05

Gotoh 510's, 21:1 Contours. They came yesterday (along with a special tool called Jack The Gripper) and after getting beat up for an extra $30.00 shipping and duties C.O.D. and when all was said and done, they dropped right in, they look sharp and work very nicely indeed. About thirty minutes work with a small wrench and a screw driver. Jack the Gripper will come in very handy as well. I have a bunch of electric guitars.

The Gripper looks like a great idea.  Thanks for the PSA. You will have to tell us the benifits of going to the new tuners once you've used them for a while.

No pics as yet. House is undergoing renovations, as well. There are sheets and drop cloths covering everything. Who knows where the camera even is? I'll think on it though. Haven't tried the Gripper yet but if it solves the problem it was designed to solve, I'm a happy guitar owner. Nothing much sounds worse than a loose jack at high(er) volume.
