Howdy all....

So
I got home yesterday and found my new (to me) ultrasound AG30 sitting on my door step....Lucky for me the baby that I had just picked up from daycare fell right asleep for a nap and I had a chance to play around with it for awhile.... :nana_guitar

It sounds AWESOME....I know everyone says this but with the XLR pre it sounds just like my guitar but louder!!  Mary Helen...my hog top...is not the loiudest guitar to begin with so it was really nice to hear her sweet voice amplified....still sweet but now she can ROAR too.

This amp is very basic....only a bass and treble EQ...a notch filter....and effects loop in and out and a shape switch....which to honest with you I don't know what it does....but when its on it no longer sounds like my guitar so I'll just leave it off... :arrow.  Anyway the tone is clear as a bell with no white noise even when cranked way up.

So...I'm a happy camper...someday I'll probably want to upgrade to the 50w version with a second channel but for now this is a great entry point into the world of amplification.

Cheers to skinnybonedog for a smooth fast transaction... :thumbsup

I've heard nothing but good things about the UltraSound and am going to start keeping my eyes and ears open for a used one.

Good choice Blue!
Now you can embark on the other adventure too, "electronics". Tonewoods, nut widths, strings, saddles & pins are child's play in comparison to the quest for the amplified grail. Music is sooo much fun, if folks who don't play only knew what they're missin'. Seriously, those are fine pieces of equipment, enjoy!
