Humidifying in a gig bag

Is it basically useless?  My beater has a gig bag, is humifying this winter a waste of time??

For a gig bag, you'd be better off humidifying the room, I think.

Not at all.  If you want, use Kyser Lifeguards, they fit over the soundhole...work well, convenient, and inexpensive.  Not that humidifying your room isn't great, but you don't have to.

Whoops!  that makes sense.  I guess it depends on the type of humidifier you're using.
