Well, on my Larrivee, anyway.

Having read lots of posts about poorly finished fret ends on random Larrivee models, I was waiting to see, with some trepidation, how my new P-10MQ would be.  I'm happy to report that the fret ends are not only well as well finished as I'd expected, but they're better.  It looks like each fret end was carefully finished to the standards a jeweler would use: carefully rounded and polished.  My Martins, for instance, have the fret ends propery cut off at the appropriate angle and then the barbs were filed off and the ends finished, but not like the Larrivee.  I'm impressed! :niceguitar:

I am just guessing that Jean & Matthew are paying attention to the guitars from Oxnard.
They have also been building a few years now in Oxnard and I sure the assembly folks are getting better at their trade.

I came to the same conclusion.  I've never seen fret ends finished as carefully.
