Oh man, that is just gorgeous.  What a rare guitar, cedar and Brazilian.  Wish I had the cash for this one. :crying:

OMG, what a beauty, just stunning!!!   Good thing is that I don't even have to try to resist, since spending $3k on a guitar just ain't happening!  :bgrin:      Betcha that if it said Martin on the headstock, it'd be $6k.  Big, you sould grab that! :cheers

Very nice...I love cedar and the BRW back and sides are truly stunning.  My preference would to not have so much bling but if I had the $...I would consider buying it for sure!

Gee ... that guitar makes my OM-10 Brazilian seem kinda tame. Visit http://steve.acoustic6string.com/om10/

Right, you should be ashamed to own it!  Fortunately, I offer this very discrete "Ugly Guitar Disposal" service.  Contact me for shipping information.

unmentioned so far is how nice the CEDAR looks too.  It looks virtually perfect from the photos.

Anyone want to buy some teenage children?  They work on occasion...

The Brw is beautiful.  I don't care for the gaudy inlays though.

I don't usually go for guitars with much 'bling' ... I have a plain Larrivée L-03 ... but this OM-10 Brazilian Rosewood IS a very attractive guitar.  I can just imagine how it sounds.

I find the inlays to be tastefully just right.  If I had the Canadian equivalent of $2,895.00 US, plus shipping and handling, I'd buy that beauty in the snap of a finger.

I agree.  I wish Larrivee made a rosewood/cedar L or D, with or without the inlays.  But those are just right to me, and I'd want 'em.

Oh yeah...a rosewood/cedar L...oh that would be sweet!  It would be so warm and responsive...a mahogany or sapele L with a cedar top...that would rock too!!!

Isn't there as much red cedar growing in BC as there is sitka?  Shouldn't it be easy to find good quality cedar they could use for their guitars?

Geez that grain is nice...especially on the side!

I think Jean prefers sitka for its strength.

Agreed, you'll never hear me knocking sitka.  I love it.  But sometimes, you want something different.  Just like sometimes I'd love to have another 12 string or a classical, sometimes, I think I'd like a cedar topped guitar just for those days when I feel like playing something other than my sitka L-03 or my all hog parlor...variety is the spice of life, right?

He does.  A cedar topped Larrivee is rare.
