I don't mean to interfere with your sale..   These are lovely guitars.   Perhaps it might be a good idea to include a little more information about the neck:  Nut Width, Nut & Saddle material, String Spacing at the Saddle and a short discription of the neck profile and tone.

Good luck with your sale.   :wave

Hey man, no worries about the "interference" =).... I do appreciate your response and I would like to try to provide these details...... The only problem is that the Takamine website itself does not provide detailed specs like the Larrivee, Taylor, or Martin websites.... so I honestly do not have the detailed specs for all these. I think I might have to measure these details by myself.... but just for those who are interested in this guitar.... The action on this guitar is extremely fast and the neck width and thickness is a bit more narrow than the Larrivees.... The neck shape and thickness feels almost exactly like most Taylors (eg. 514, 614, 814) so I would assume that they're very similar. Now, I have a DV-09E and I would say that my Takamine requires quite a bit less effort to play compared to the Larrivee due to the narrow fingerboard and neckshape. Soundwise, the 2 does not compare very well because of the completely different shape and wood selection. I would say that the Takamine I'm selling here is more of a finger picker's guitar, the sound coming out of the NEX cutaway is very focussed and warm due to the cedar top. This guitar is not bassy and it excels more in the mid-range from the mahogany back and sides. Volume wise this guitar is not very loud.... i would mind you guys honestly that if you prefer the distinctive Larrivee sound (loud and punchy with distinctive sharp trebles), this guitar will sound different.. This is more of a warm, mellow and smooth sound without much boomy excitement of a hard strummer...

I love the neck action of this guitar and I would just wish that Larrivee can produce the body of their existing guitar with necks like my Takamine, but I mean you can't get everything in this world. The reason I'm selling this guitar is because I need the $$ after buying the DV-09 and yes, I am more of a strummer and I do strum pretty hard for the style of music that I play.... so for those who plays a different style, my lost is your gain, you will love this guitar and oh yes did i mention the extremely good electronics from Takamine? Their pickups sound pretty darn amazing and would not lack against any of the single source pickup models coming from Larrivee and the tuner onboard come extremely handy.

Hopefully this helps.

Nice write-up.   :thumbsup
