If you've never played an all-mahogany guitar, they have such a sweet sound.  Great warmth, and they love to be fingerpicked.  The guitar is in excellent condition.  There are a few slight indendations on the back of the neck, so slight that they won't photograph.  No other dings, flaws, etc.  The semi-hardshell case is awesome--so light, yet it provides the perfect fit and protection of a hardshell case.  It is embroidered with the Alvarez logo, has a front pocket, and a shoulder strap.

The nut width is 1 11/16".  Let me know if you have any more questions...

shoot, I need at least a 1-3/4" nut width these days, or I would have bought this right now.  Nice nice guitar.  I've owned a couple Alvarez, and the solid woods ones are great bargins IMHO.  Someones gonna get a great guitar for little money!

You're killing me, I can't believe this is still here.  Best deal I've seen in ages.  Someone please snatch this up!  I'd get it in a heart beat if I didn't have bad g.a.s for another guitar.  If its still here much longer I might just get it anyway!.

I have one of these, and can vouch for them being a VERY nice sounding gutar, and a great deal for the money.  PLUS, if you want to, there's plenty of room on each side of the fingerboard to push the nut width a little wider.  I made a bone nut piece for mine, and pushed it *almost* to 1-3/4.  It plays and sounds great.
