Hard to tune......

Saw this picture some were, I guy took it in to a Luther and told him, He wasn't learning how to play very well because the guitar was awfully hard to tune. He thought it might need to be set up.

That's from frets.com.  It's a classic.

Come to think of it, it would be interesting to string up one of one's (cheaper) guitars that way and see what kind of new tuning possibilities emerged....

DumbA$$ alert.  Why in the world would this genius cross the strings like that?  "Look there is the bowl with water in it that's shaped like a seat, but I think it makes much more sense for me to #2 in that big tub with faucettes comming out of the top." :wacko:
