I know it is hard to notice just by pics but.....

Do you think it is Brazilian back and side????

Judging from the back, it looks like a Yamaha LL or LS series.  If it is an LL/LS6, then it is laminated rosewood (Indian).  Their laminate often looks braz.  What is the model number?  Yamaha has an updated website for their LL series and they have used braz, but only on the extreme high-end in earlier LL models.  I think they are limited to Indian Rosewood now, but the -36 series are very expensive and ultra-high-end (I want to say approaching 7,500 - 10,000??).  See website below:

BTW, i am really fascinated that you figuired the maker and model by just looking at those 2 pics~ :SHK>

thanks!  Yamaha uses that really nice grained lam. on many of their low LL and high-end FG series (Like the FG-04 that had an engelmann top).  It looks very much like braz I admit!  But they say it's EIR.

Regardless, I'm willing to bet that LL6 sounds great - especially for the price point!

...the skunk line gave it away... :)

if it's veneer they can just flat saw it
