Hi everyone, I'm new to this board. I just bought a D03-12r so I thought I'd stop by and say hello!
Love the guitar. I went into the store thinking about a Martin 12-string, but after playing it I was really, really dissapointed. I've played Taylor 300-series 12's before and they are nice to play, but I think the Larrivee has it beat. I went with the rosewood over the mahogany back, just sounded better to me. Or more accurately, was the sound I was hearing in my head.

Congrats on the 12 string. I know you will be happy with her and welcome to the friendliest forum around. Please add pictures of your new guitar if you please...we love pictures. As the new member to the forum, it is tradition for you to bring donuts for the other members. You may want to take orders...we have a lot of different tastes in here. Welcome & congrats on finding a nice guitar w/ the sound you are hearing in your head.
That's a pursuit that for a lot of us, never ends.

Wow. That's a beaut! Love the understated elegance of a Larrivee 03 guitar! Love the new pickguard also.

You'll have to record a song on it and share it with us all.
