When you are doing rhythm guitar tracks, how many dubs do you like to use? I am thinking of doing about 8 to just get a real full ajnd panoramic rhythm guitar base. I'll submix to two stereo tracks...also, do any of you like to record with a stereo mic, and use up two tracks at a time? It is great for backup voices.

I record two mono tracks of the same performance; one through my condenser mic and one direct from my iBeam active pickup. Then I can separated them in the stereo image and add as much or little processing as needed to each.
