Jesse Welles, upcoming artist

Not intending to be political, but an interesting kid who's trying a folk revival approach. It's refreshing from all the YouTube stars and people searching instant fame:

I caught that story on CBS Sunday Morning too and it's been interesting to witness firsthand the changes to how the creation, presentation and distribution of music has evolved during my lifetime. Jesse Wells is a great, current example of that.

P.S. One of the most interesting things I've read related to music in the last 10 years is the letter that Bob Dylan wrote to the academy when he learned that he has been awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature. The letter was read by the U.S. Ambassador to Sweden, Azita Raji at the Nobel Banquet in Stockholm on December 10, 2016. You can google it.

He's got a John Prine vibe to his songs, but a little more political and pointed.
I need to check out that Dylan letter from the Nobel acceptance. Thanks for the tip!
