I always love discovering new to me music for guitar. The above composer is just such an example. This Prelude in C major comes from a set of 24 Preludes for Guitar. I assume he is imitating other composers like Bach and Chopin in composing pieces in various keys for their instrument. I've always loved short pieces like the Chopin Preludes. I was particularly attracted to this Prelude in C Major. I like the two lines of music, the contrary motion, and the fact that never are two notes played together. I've never played or seen this like this. I've only heard several of these Preludes, but they are tonal, seem to have a melodic section, and also something to exercise the fingers LOL. I'm thinking of ordering these Preludes. Enjoy!

WOW! I just love discovering new music and people who write it. I've never heard of this guy. Well, he is my age and probably wasn't composing when I studied guitar. I'll have to look at the Barcarolle Op 611/1.
