No snickers, but an honest question. I was restringing my SD 40 custom and notices my nut was loose. I slid it back to the normal position and restrung it. Is this something I should be concerned about or should I have a luthier look at it?
I just dabble and I'm good with that!

You'd be paying someone $50 to $75 to place a drop of glue. You can just keep it under tension, or you can use a drop of titebond. I like to use a glue that allows you to knock the nut out if needed. But, not something so soft as Elmer's.
