Hi all. Just registered on your forum as recommended by a somebody at the Larrivee Service Dept. I am selling my guitar so somebody can actually play it! It has been out of the case a few times for touch and feel and is either mint or dead mint condition. The serial # is 14539. It has a beautiful inlay. When I got it I called and spoke to Jean back in 94-94 and asked about the inlay work. He said his wife did it. I'm sure all of you know this. Anyway, my intention was to buy nice guitars and play them. I ended up just collecting them. Sad on my part. The Larrivee person suggested I ask you all what would be a good asking price and possiby sell it to one of you instead of Craigs in Colorado.
Your thoughts/guidance would be appreciated

You should post pictures here. The top and back woods will be important to know. People on Craigslist generally aren't paying much so, if you want to get fair value, sell it online.

Acoustic guitars are very susceptible to humidity issues so inspect it for cracks in the top wood and be prepared to take measurements of the bridge height if the buyer asks.

Reverb shows two of these having sold for as low as $1,500. But, we're in a weird time right now. Guitar prices got wild during the pandemic and people were over paying. That's settling down and a lot of guitars are going back in the market, making it more of a buyer's market. However, there's still some people that are willing to pay a lot so consider starting at $2,500 and look to get (hopefully) north of $2k, if the market hasn't declined too much. You'll see people asking for much more, but that's not what these guitars are actually selling for.

Best of luck.

Super info. This guitar has been prperly hydrated since I brought it home. I will move over to classifieds section and ost a few pics. Thank you again for you time and guidance.
