GHS thin Core Phosphor Bronze strings

Hi all, Has anyone tried out a set of these? They have been out for over a year now; 'wondering if they are simply GHS's version of DR's Sunbeam's i.e. with a round core. Side note, my OM-03 is sounding better everyday especially with the new bone bridge pins that Jr. recommend!
