Finally sold the 12-string on Monday.  Out of town musician who was in town for a gig at the MIM.

Sadly the market for used 12's is soft as jello.

So I'm down to only two Larrivees, my 1998 OM-03R and 1999 O-01 Parlor.
Of course, the wife still has her two Larrivees.

So tired of filling the humidifiers every other week...

Winter? hahahahah.  In Phoenix it can be raining and still 20% RH.  

Once the kids are out of the house I'm converting the boy's room into a music room and I'll hang the Carbon fiber guitars on the wall.

Not to derail the thread I never understood why more acoustic owners don't just humidify the room. I'm in Phoenix and don't have any issues. 4 months out of the year I don't even need to fill the humidifier because the outdoor RH is prefect and I'm not running AC. For the rest of the year I just pour some water in humidifier and it's much easier than dealing with individual guitar humidifiers that may or may not be offering the right RH.
Plus, whole room humidity is great on the skin too.

I was in Phoenix beginning of March for ten days, weather was great.

I gave my daughter a guitar about 8 yrs ago when she lived in Chicago, a Ibenez dreadnaught with a sunburst top  that I had bought back in late 70's or early 80's. Well she bought a nice case for it and its been in the closet for 7 yrs in AR with the strings that I put on it before giving it to her. I asked her were it was and she told me and said she had meant to bring it back to me last summer when she was up in the motorhome. Well to my amazement when I took it out of the case it looked just like it did when I put it in the case, no signs of any drying out, tuned it up and it played just fine, actually sounded pretty good for sitting so long. I had planned on selling it while I was there but just not enough time, well maybe next year.

Mark, glad to hear you finally sold the 12 string, as I recall its been on the market for awhile.

I only have two guitars, as well. The rest belong to the dog. Yeah that's it.

At a certain point one has to decide that maybe one doesn't need that many 12-strings.

I still have:

1973 Guild F-212  (Guild's Small Jumbo)
Taylor GA-3  (Taylor's copy of Guild's small jumbo)  - Bob can claim it's his body design all he likes, but Guild got there 40 years earlier
Rainsong WS-3000

Note that the Larrivee Dread was a lot larger than any of these.
