Not long after I bought this lovely instrument, I learned that it's just a little too big for me to play comfortably.  I love the voice, but my shoulder needs a smaller instrument.  I acquired an OM that seems just the right size, and the L-09 just never was played very much.  So finally I'm putting it up for sale.  It's in excellent condition, and of course it sounds great.  Looks good, too, with the vine headstock inlay, gold finish tuners and reddish color sitka spruce top.  The original tuning machines were not that great, so I replaced them with Gotoh 381 Schaller-style tuners.  The Gotohs are definitely an upgrade.  Like most 09s it has Indian rosewood back and sides, sitka spruce top, ebony fingerboard, bridge and headstock face plate.  There is a never-installed Bob Colosi bone saddle in the case, too.
