I know of no way to pin the thread to the "Recent Posts", absent a recent post.
That would require a re-writing of the SMF code.
Only the owner of the Forum has the authority to do that.
Reminding people to vote if they care to is one thing, and I can do that when we approach the end of the month.
But encouraging people to care is always a challenge, and perhaps not even always advisable.

I'm usually a non-voter because it doesn't cross my mind to travel to the  Pictures section.  But I love seeing the new guitar of the month each month.   I would most definitely vote if I saw a prompt or if this thread were in the Larrivee Guitar section, which I visit every time I'm on the forum.

I always click on "Show unread posts since last visit" and never miss a thing.
