This is what many people have been wanting.    Some specific information and, more importantly, a little sample of the sound.   If I was in the market for a dreadnaught I'd be saving my $$$ for one of these.   :thumb

Unfortunately, not many people are willing to talk about the new series, so I don't think there are many people who have been waiting.

Yes, that's also my perception, unfortunately. I would definitively have a look at the 40 Legacy series if I would'nt have ordered a OM-03 prior to the new series' announcement...
Cheers

I just happened to have someone contact me about the sale of my SDO3 so I was in the market for another Larrivee OM when I found out about the launch of the Legacy series. So even though it was a short wait I was looking forward to the delivery of my new OM40 from Jason at Notable Guitars. I picked it up last night on the way home from work. No time to really evauluate it but it sure is a beauty. By far the best guitar out there for the money.
Thanks, Dave

Our first D-40 mahogany was a great box! We just received a D-40R that is monster and I think has the edge over the Mahogany. I guess it's personal taste and the classic battle between Mahogany Vs. Rosewood
