Decided to finally sign up to the forum on the day that I ordered a L-03RD from Jason at Notable Guitars.  I also own a D-03RE, OMV-3RE [all bought from Jason] and a Alvarez MF80.  Thank you for sharing great insight over the years....I've enjoyed it.

Greetings and welcome to the forum!

I nearly bought a Parlor from Notable - had I not found one that called my name in a local store. Notable seems to have good prices and inventory.

Nice folks here on the Larri forum, I think you'll enjoy it.

Thank you.  Yes, Jason is a good guy and does the best he can to please his customers.  I've enjoyed buying from him.

Welcome.  Sounds like you have some  :nice guitar:'s!  We look forward to your input and   :donut :coffee

Hey Utahboy!  Welcome from a fellow Utahn! Maybe we could meet sometime and play a few tunes together if you don't live too far away! I'll be sending you a PM.

New to the site myself, utahboy, and it's been a great source of friendly information so far for me! Just ordered my first Larrivee, and this site gave me greater confidence in both the guitar and the retailer. Welcome!

First things first..... :donut :donut :donut :donut2  As for the model, the L-03RD simply means rosewood deluxe.  Jason at Notable referred to the model that way so I assume it's the model used for that special release.  I'm anxious for it to show up at my door.

Thanks again everyone  :donut2 :donut2 :donut2 :donut

Just so everyone is clear... Utahboy's guitar would be an L-03R Deluxe. Adding the "D" designation after the "R" would refer to the pickup used.

Most commonly on the 03's is "E" for Element (dual source side mount preamp from LR Baggs),  "D" is the standard Stage Pro Element by LR Baggs... and finally the "S" which is a Shadow pickup.

OMG the Larrivee model naming is reminiscent of years gone by . 10 years from now someone will ask whats the D in L-03RD stand for and everyone including Larrivee will be mystified as preamp models change

No, they will just log on to this forum, look up this thread, and Bob's your uncle.

Became a Shooting Star when I got my 1st guitar.
Back in '66, I was 13 and that was my fix.
Still shooting for stardom after all this time.
If I never make it, I'll still be fine.
