New RS2

Well I have been playing with my new RS2 and I like it. :nana_guitar
It is very comfortable to play in my wheelchair.  It is light weight and the satin finish is nice.
The ebony binding against the rosewood fretboard also looks nice.
I also like the pick guard.  It kinda grows on you.  As with all Larrivee electrics, it sounds great.   Here are some pics.

Mike,

Love your guitar, but I find it odd that they've completely REVERSED the color scheme from what came on mine - cream pup covers and black knobs...why can't they get consistent - use black knobs with black pup covers, and cream covers with cream switch tips and gold knobs?!?!?  :wacko:

Cyber ( Mike) that looks like gold hardware ( at least on my pute) on your RS2  I assume it was stocked that way on Special O - the black looks great!!!! And Mikeymac ( Mike) the changes you made were perfect for what came stock IMO

Yeah ... but I've thought about finding some black pickup covers and going back to black hardware...but I don't want to mess with repotting pickups if that's what I'd have to do.

I agree.  I like what you did.  The ivoroid binding, pickup covers and knobs all match and look real nice.  As for mine - - - - well I have always been a sucker for black and gold.

Yeah its a special "O".  I think the black pickup covers, ebony binding and black pick guard contrast nicely with gold hardware and knobs.  I like the clean and classy look. The people at Larrivee did a real nice job.  My complements to them. :thumbsup

Nice guitar. I like the pick guard. I'm still thinking about another rs4 but with p90's or go for the rs2 p90's. I guess I can't go wrong either way.
