Were any L's built with large frets?

I know the Forum I OM was built with larger (jumbo) fret wire. I have two: one measures .104x.041. It previously belonged to UnclRob, and the frets were nicely leveled, so I'm sure they're very slightly lower than original. The other measures .104x.043. While the ends were VERY nicely rounded by some previous owner, I don't think the frets have been leveled since leaving the factory (other than 1 I dressed  :winkin:). I also have an Ibanez ES-335 clone with .104x.043 frets.

Larrivee's current production specifies .0985x.0394 (2.5mm x 1mm), and older Larrivees used Martin-like microfrets.

Were any special-run (or whatever) L bodies built with the larger (specifically, taller frets? I like the 0.043 best, probably wouldn't object to taller, don't mind the .041 (especially since they are leveled so well), and hate the .036 frets on a Martin I have (and the itty bitty frets on other Martinns, and the "fretless wonder" frets on my old Gibson J50). .0394 doesn't leave much room for fretwork.

My comment tho not likely much help but in the 80's for solidbody electrics when most other companies were going to/with large frets Larrivee stayed with the smaller frets

Poking around in a local store, I did find some variation in the quality of the fretwork between several Larrivees, and thus the height remaining after leveling. The cherry-picked frets weren't bad, but I still prefer the frets that were used on Forum I. Oh well.

Thre frets on my L are pretty nice, and large. Not jumbo frets though.
