Hmm...... Looks like Larrivee is starting to listen to the complaints about the Ping tuners. They now offer Schaller M6's on the website aftermarket. Says they are a drop-in replacement.

So now we have THREE choices: 510's, 0903's/1951's, or Schaller M6's.....

They say only a pawnshop guitar can play the blues. An eBay one does it better. A guitar's bound to feel unloved if her owner plasters pictures of her front and back over the internet for all to see and then sells her off to the highest anonymous bidder.

The tuners on my new Larrivee are the Schaller M6's.  To my knowledge, they are now using the Schallers on all -05 models and up.
I've been putting my guitar through the rounds every day for 3 weeks now and I have to say, these tuners are really great!  :thumbsup
It takes them days to go out of tune, even under prolonged, hard strumming.
