FS 2002 Big Baby Taylor - SOLD

SOLD Having recently acquired a Martin 000-15 and living under the one in one out rule I have up for sale a 2002 Taylor Big Baby ( 307-GB ).  No gig bag but will include an Alvarez hardshell case.  The case apears to be a dread case and there is slight play (( about 1/2" around the lower bout ) when the guitar is placed in it.  I will pack accordingly but when I transported the guitar it was never an issue. I purchased this guitar on this forum around 1 year ago as a camping / Let the kids play it / Beater and it has served me well. 

The info:

Condition:  This guitar is a player and has a few dings to prove it.  There are 5 dings around the size of a bb or smaller on the sitka top of the guitar and one 1/2" surface (stable ) crack along the lower bout on the treble side ( visible in the second picture ).  The neck and the back have no issues.

There is very, very slight fret wear on the first few frets, actually less than what I would have imagined for a 5 year old guitar.

There is a smooth area where your forearm lays across the lower bout ( sweat mark ? ) that was there when I purchased the guitar that might possibly be buffed out, but for my purposes it was fine.

None of these issues affect the playablility of the guitar and it's tone is typical Taylor.  The guitar could probably use a good setup as there is a slight buzz above the 10th fret. As Malcom Young of AC / DC once said "If I ever go above the 5th fret I'm messing up" which kind of fits me so I never bothered to get a setup.  The action at the 12th is 3/32 of the bass side and maybe a 64th less on the treble side.

I will gladly take or attempt to take more detailed pictures of any area of the guitar but I want to be totally upfront in describing everything. I am probably making this guitar sound like a real beater but actually it is not.  From 5 feet away it looks like a typical Big Baby. It is a joy to play and has some pretty good mojo associated with it.  I keep my guitars in a humidity controlled, non smoking home.

BONUS: I will include a new Taylor Tusq saddle I recently purchased but never installed,  a new Kyser capo, and I will ship with a Dampit in the soundhole for the trip.
