buffing out a satin finish

I have an OM-01 and often daydream about bufing out the satin finish to make it more glossy. Does anyone know if they use a flattener in the lacquer?

wait, I did the typical noob thing and didn't do a search first...... there are lots of great looking polish/buffing jobs out there!
