Rosette Finish Crack, how to stablize

I have finish crack around the purfling of the rosette like many of the larrivees, is it possible to stablize it with a drop of CA glue (of course wipe of the excess quickly.  It's like 1 cm.  I dont mind the crack itself, I just dont want it to get worse :|.

These do not tend to get worse.  It is not a crack in the traditional sense.  It is an area where the finish has sank into the rosette.  When it comes to the point where it no longer is sinking into the rosette then it will stop.  If it were following the grain of the wood as oppose the the rosette, then it would be likely to spread.  Also, this is not a condition of Larrivees exclusively.  I first noticed it with Taylors and have since seen it on most factory guitars.

I had the same issue on an L-10. Rather than use CA glue, I used clear nail polish,
Worked like a charm.

Yeah, they are on most larrivees.

I'ts actually lifting a bit (like a long thin bubble), where the purflings are.

So clear Nail polish eh?

There is also a crack along the fingerboard and the top, can't really tell, but it's where the stress are.  I dont think it's too dry.  Anyway, I see who else replies and Give whatever came up best a try.

Should have said in my post that I am not a luthier or tech.  That info is only what I have gathered from others.  There are many on here who know much more then I about finishes and potential repairs.  APM (acousticplayermagazine.com) has many luthiers that regularly post and are very helpful.  You may want to post this over there and see what they have to say.
