Does Larrivee make a 24.75ish scale LS or CS model?

Take care

If you place an order for one, yes. Larrivee production models only include the biggest sellers but they also do quite a few small runs and customs. It's not like a custom from most shops where you're buying their top and guitars. Larrivee customs include 03s and other basic models.

The 24 series has an OMV and an LV which are 24.75" scale.

I'm sure you could custom order, but it might not be ready for 6+ months

Thanks. I recently picked up a CS-09 that is great and was curious if they made a short scale and it looks like they do. I had no idea, thanks again

Congratulations on your recent acquisition of a CS-09. Can you confirm if this guitar has both a 12 fret neck and a 24.75" scale? This will be a welcome addition to your guitar playing efforts. FWIW; The Florentine cutaway is a $1,500 upcharge on Larrivee's website ($1,000 for an L body) under the custom pricing tab and a 12 fret neck is a $300 upcharge.

The reason I asked is because I have a 12 fret LSV-03 (Forum VI) with a 25.5" scale length and it is super comfortable to play up the neck beyond the 12th fret. That is my second Larrivee with a cutaway; the other is a 12 string LV-03 with a 14 fret neck. While there are a fair number of players who don't like the looks of a cutaway, I think Larrivee does it better than anyone else in the business and I'm glad I have mine.

Let us know what you think after you've played yours for a few weeks.

Hi,

I picked it up on Xmas eve so had it for over a month. It is a 1997 model with 25.5 inch scale and 14 frets to the body.

The guitar is a joy to play, previous owner set the action very low which may explain how easy it is to play. It also sounds very nice. I have some PB EJ16 12s on it and will likely be trying out different sets this year.

At 1st I wasn't sure about the Florentine cut away as I rarely play past the 10th fret, but it looks and feels great.

I tried to post a picture, but it was rejected due to size.

I think the florentine cutaway looks fantastic, and it's also difficult to make. You found yourself a really special guitar, enjoy it!

Agree. Lucked out and paid an extremely fair price IMHO.
