For Sale 00-40 Vintage Tobacco Sunburst

Hello all,

I'm selling my 00-40, mahogany/spruce. It's technically a 44 - it has a full gloss finish, vintage tobacco burst, abalone rosette. I'm the original owner, almost 1 year old. I received it 10/30/2024.

It's rarely been out of my house here in Central Texas and my home is very consistent 50-70% humidity.

It's in very good condition, plays and sound great but it does have one ding (my fault) and a few very minor imperfections from the factory. The ding is on the underside of the headstock near the G-string tuner (see pic). The gloss finish had a tiny air bubble and some very fine, almost invisible buffing marks. These are very hard to see unless you hold the guitar at the right angle in the sunlight.

Comes with the original Larrivee standard case. Serial number is 142375.

A lovely sunburst and the abalone rosette has always been a favorite! Can you comment on what kind of spruce top it has?

I'm pretty sure it's Sitka. I didn't order anything special like Moon Spruce or Adirondack.
