Out of date forum adds

Why are there so many adds that date back to 2002 ?   Is this forum still relevant /

I'm not seeing any ads. What ads are you seeing?

Most of the time the for sale stay posted because they either they got sold or didn't sell we forget about them.

Oh, are you talking about classifieds?? The recent ones are on the first page. If you're using the search or a search engine, then you're simply pulling up old listings. That has nothing to do with forum relevancy.

If memory serves  :roll (that's a good one) as I was saying- if memory serves,  years ago it was suggested that all the old Classified ads be removed but the consensus was that there was good historical data to be mined there.

YES, they are very important, IMO. Twice now I've been saved by those ads. I always research a used guitar before I buy and I've found old listings were a seller mentioned a flaw/issue that the current seller has neglected to bring up.

Also, it's cool to see where they've been, what they sold at, etc.
