  Thanks MikeyMac,good info,I don't own a guitar with forward shifted scalloped X bracing-my Martin is straight A-frame pattern, scalloped X I imagine allows the top to vibrate well! I hope your custom build turns out to have Holy Grail tone.Larrivee uses alot of or did Italian Alpine spruce,beautiful tops and the one I played was stellar! thanks again & all be well.
