Larrivée well-represented at church tonight for the Christmas Eve service. Left to right.... C-10 from early 80s, owned by my friend and bought when his music shop became one of the first Larrivée dealers in Western Washington. Label marked Victoria, but it was made in Vancouver.   L-09LH special from the mid 90s, a custom job from Vancouver that is strung right but set up left, including the b-band pickup setup, owned by the pastor.  LSV-11e from 2010 in Oxnard, which of course, is mine.  And yes, I've been waiting months for the opportunity to finally get a pic of our guitars side by side!

You know that they were made in Victoria for a period of time.

Yes indeed.  However, my friend said that he was told this one was from the Vancouver facility, even though they still had Victoria on the labels at the time.  It was one of the first batch of Larrivée guitars that he got in his music store here back in the mid 80s, just south of the BC border.  It's Brazilian rosewood with inlay done by Wendy.

Hi Paraclete, so to understand, the L-09 is a right hand guitar played by a lefty?

Sort of....it is a custom guitar in every sense.  It's designed to be strung like a right handed guitar, but the markers and barn door electrics panel and pickguard are designed left.  I can play it right handed, but it is upside down when I do.  It was a custom order.  This is the result of someone who learned to play Jimi Hendrix style!

I converted a couple of lefty's to be played with the strings in reverse a while back.

I think Paracletes LSV-11 can be nominated with the others as window dressing.
