Been offered a Larrivee LS03 on trade but can't find info on original retail price.  I think it came from Oxnard but not sure (no label in pics). It's an LS03 with bearclaw top, claro walnut b&s, flamed koa binding and abalone rosette. Don't know if it was special ordered, limited edition or what - sure is pretty, though. Unsure of age but appears mint in pics. Sent some pics to factory for info but thought someone on here might be familiar with this model.

Thanks!!

The email responses can sometimes be extremely slow so hopefully someone here is familiar with that model run.  Even if not, keep in mind that there are a LOT of special/custom Larrivees.  Rarity doesn't add a whole lot of value as far as Larrivees go.  It's probably because they're all so consistent that you don't need a special edition to get a great one.  That LS does sound pretty cool though.

Sounds like a nice guitar.  Used value would be pretty much the same as any other walnut -03 series.  Bearclaw tends to bring down the value since so many people hate it though.

The extra touches such as the koa binding and abalone rosette don't really add any resale value.

Sounds like a Wildwood custom.  You can buy one new from them for $XXXX  plus shipping.

Strings's info above is a good number to base your purchase.

Yeah - it's way low for what he's trying to trade me for. I'll keep what I've got.

Thanks!!
