Well, I guess this shows that the good ol' government leaders in the USofA  DO NOT possess all of the bonehead ideas & ways of doing things.

I think I feel better knowing this.... then again maybe not!!!

   In Austin we saw a crew tearing up the street and sidewalk to put in a bustop. Well when they were done another crew came and tore it up to do it their way.
   A friend who retired from TXDOT (state) and worked for the city said this happens all the time in Austin. On roads that are State/City streets. One agency won't let the other know what they are doing and on top of that they each try to funnel traffic onto the others roads to cut their own budgets.

                                                    Gotta love the bureaucracy coordination  :rolleye:
