Don't know if this belongs in this forum or in the electrical section, but here goes....

What effect does the undersaddle pickups have on tone and top movement as opposed to having firm bone saddle-to-bridge contact??  I have both types in different guitars, and my initial impression is that the LR Baggs and Fishman undersaddles have a somewhat muting effect as opposed to the contact piezos.

Is it my imagination, a difference in outputs of the mics, or do you all think (as I'm beginning to) that the USTs mute the sound a bit?

I put JJB Presitge 330 piezos on my Taylor 110. They sound very accurate as to the way the guitar sounds. I love the sound I am getting through my Fishman Mini using the Klotz LaGrand guitar cable. This cable is amazing. It added more clarity and articulation the first time I plugged it in.

I have had compliments on the guitars sound every time I have played with this rig.

The JJB Prestige 330's are the real deal!
