I came across a listing for a Larrivee with Ply mahogany sides and back and a solid spruce top. It seems all the spec I have seen has been for all solid wood construction. Did Larrivee once make a laminated guitar or could this be a missed print?

Thanks

I think when they first started the D-02 series they made a couple of guitars with laminated body wood. Or was it the 01 series?

For a brief while, they made 03's with laminated sides as a response to the offerings by Martin and Taylor.  Then, they figured out they need to just be Larrivee and do things they way they want!

I wouldn't let laminated sides put me off - it makes stability and I can't imagine much detriment to sound quality.

The first 100 (maybe 200) of the -02 series were made with laminate back/sides in order to compete with the laminate offerings from Taylor.  They very quickly changed to solid Sapele.
