Webber OM Sitka/Mahogany w/Baggs -AVS case

I bought this new back in April.   Within a few weeks it had "trumped" a Mahogany and master Engelmann custom Goodall I'd owned for about a year and sent it packing.  I've added a Baggs Passive I-beam, and upgraded the case to a TKL/AVS FQMS custom OM/000 case....just like the Cedar Creek.

Beautiful Sitka top, unstained Mahogany back and sides, ebony fingerboard and bridge, Cocobolo binding on body, fingerboard, headstock and also Coco rosette, venetian cutaway, 1 13/16 nut, 2 1/4 saddle spacing (at the pins....it's spreads and plays at 2 5/16 over the saddle)  As noted above, the passive I-beam was installed by my tech at Elderly's.  The pic of the heel was previous to it's installation.....the strapjack is the antiqued kind that matches well with the Coco wedge.

Regarding condition....absolutely NO cosmetic issues other than extremely minor fret wear (B, E.....1-2-3)  The guitar and case are as new.  I've just cleaned and conditioned the fingerboard and installed a fresh set of GHS Juber lights.


Tonally, this is the best Webber I've owned by far out of about a dozen.  It has David's signature string separation and sustain, with more low end and midrange warmth than you'd expect from this wood combination.   Feste played this a couple of weeks back and within a very short time he said "that's what mahogany is supposed to sound like"  I agree with him.   I'll get a couple recordings I made with it up tomorrow.

I have just shy of 3000 into it as it sits.   I'm firm on my price at 2100.  David will transfer the warranty to the next owner (there may be a 50.00 fee....not sure)   Shipping will be to the lower 48 only, and  actual on my Fedex account.  Add 45.00 for Paypal fees and I'll cover the rest (if you want to go that way)
