I am selling my 1996 OM-09 12 fret.  It's sitka over rosewood, 1&3/4 nut width, with rosewood binding and an abalone rosette.  This guitar is not mint, but in very good condition with a few minor reminders of it's age.  It is a very unique guitar both in sound and in construction. I hesitate to call it rare, but I have never run across or seen anywhere, (including e bay) another 12 fret OM-09. I'm sure they are out there, but I've never seen one mentioned here or for sale here either.  It also is a unique sounding guitar. For an OM it is loud and resonant. Very full and round sounding notes. One person who played it said it had piano like bass. Guitar has functioning under saddle pickup, with endpin jack, but I do not know the brand.  Has slight bellying behind the bridge, not uncommon for a guitar of its age. Case is a bit beat up but fully functional.

Guitar has recently had a setup and fret dressing by local luthier Fran Ledoux of Bay Fretted Instrument .

Price is $1,100 shipped and insured to CONUS only.  No trades please.

Thanks for looking.

It's standard scale. Should have included that.

Thanks.

I've never seen a larrivee 12 fret OM either, but I've been searching for a 000 for a while (of course that would leave me with non-larrivees). Do you have any specs on the body dimensions and photos? Is it similar to the peanut shaped pre war Martin OOO 12 fret styles? In particular, what's the width and depth at the upper/lower bout.

Do you have any pictures you could share?

Thanks very much!

Joe, this sounds like a rare guitar, and I am sure some pics would help your sale.  If you want to email them to me at ben.freeman4@btinternet.com I will reformat and post them on this thread for you if that would help.

last one.  Joe, I think the files were too big to attach more than 2 to each message.  I didn't reformat them at all, just attached them as they were.

Hello Joe,
Is this guitar still available?
Please email.
Thanks,
Kurt

Joe - doing a search on 12 frets for sale, I saw your postings.  Any chance your 12 fret is still available?  If you prefer, you can email at picktap@wi.rr.com.

Thanks,

Bill
