Really nice...congrats!

Since you've removed "Goober" are you going to re-signature it with something else like "Gomer"?

Nice!

I bought mine new in 2004 and your Serial Number is about 1,500 ahead of my parlor. I did upgrade from the gig bag it came with to a Larrivee hard shell case and was glad I did.

Nobody does mahogany like Larrivee. You will be very happy.

This one came with a Larrivee hard shell case! I wouldnt mind getting a gig bag for it make it easy to carry with me though. The cases always get heavy for me to carry!  So I wonder how many a year they made?? Maybe I WILL email and ask about the year... and hope to get an answer  :winkin:

Petunia is stunning.  gotta love the mahogany-top Larrivees.    Nice gloss job on the top too.   I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the differences between this one and the P-09 you had.

Yes, looks a lot like the one I had.  I had buffed mine out completely.  Amazing little guitars, so much fun.  Congrats again feathersprings

Sherry, Petunia is beautiful.
BTW, I've had many goobers on my guitars but they wiped right off with a damp towel.

Im really not good at the "terminology" What I think is that Petunia has beautiful, very clear trebles and mid tones the P-09 seemed a bit "softer " sounding with a very rich bass which is the same thing I love about my 00 rosewood Martin . Really ,I liked the P-09 and love this one also... I think they are just VERY different sounding. Hope this makes sense  :rolleye: I took some time playing this morning .. it needs the action lowered a bit.. I like pretty low action...so Doug will do that for me in the next couple days and it will be easier for me to play... ( that pesky f chord is giving me trouble as usual LOL! ) What I need with 2 guitars I have no idea  I dont play that well and only  for myself... but I have wanted one of these since I first saw one! Im toying with the idea of using it for  a different tuning. I hate tuning so if I can play it without always having to re-tune that would be great! ..I love the sound of Celtic music and would like to find some simple tunes to learn and i notice often they are in some alternate tunings.

:roll It would have been nice if that would have worked for my "goober" !
