Trying differant strings is the only hobby I can still afford. I sold my Ovation to raise some cash for a special edition Bubinga  Larrivee L03 I purchased just two weeks ago. My favorite strings on the Ovation were Dean Markley Alchemy Goldphos. These strings have a rich warm sound  that took the harsh edge off the tone of the Ovation. The Larrivee is all together differant so I no longer need to ovoid bright strings. Perhaps I'll try the  Dean Markley Goldbronze next time out.
