I was about to sell this on Ebay but notice there is interest here from within the UK for an OM03MT from overseas so thought I may as well try here first.

I've recently bought a very nice and very expensive Brook Taw guitar. I can't justify keeping two OM guitars so I need to sell the OM03MT.

It's in very good condition - just one very tiny ding on the back of the headstock. I'll try to get more details and some pictures up later. Looking for £550

Here are some pictures. It came out of the factory in 2006. Unless you're new to the forum you probably already know about the appeal of a Larrivee hogtop. Just ask about them in the forum and you'll get mostly enthusuastic positive responses!

This is a good example in very good condition. It comes with a Larrivee hard case. It's only been played fingerstyle so even the pickguard is clean and new looking. Cosmetically it's pretty much perfect. If you're being picky, the only thing that might detract from its overall beauty is a slight discolouration down the centre join and as I already mentioned a minor ding in the back/top of the headstock (we're talking tiny - too small to photograph).

Update - having looked again carefully, there ARE some light scratches on the pickguard. Nothing serious but I didn't want to mislead.

Paul, if I hadn't bought a forum III I'd be all over this, but unfortunately i couldn't justify another guitar.  Good luck though.

Try the classifieds in Guitarist magazine, I put my D-09 in there and got some interest.

Thanks for the tip Ben. If I get no interest here I'll try the guitarist magazine (and/or ebay).

I was tempted by the Forum III. If the £/$ exchange rates had been where they were 12-15 months ago I may well have pulled the trigger.

I've got a Brook Taw as well and sold my OM a few months ago on the same grounds as you, namely that having 2 such similar sized guitars didn't seem practical. Now however I get anxious about taking the Brook out to crowded pubs and music classes and wish I still had the OM as a backup.

I think I'm officially regarded as being out of guitar funds this month but whereabouts in the UK are you?

My son made a film about Brook Guitars which is on Youtube. You can find it here.

I'm in St Albans. Let me know if you're in the area and want to take a look.

Good to find another Taw owner. I was in Devon last week and had a great time playing their guitars and looking around their workshop. The Rosewood Taw was one they had in stock and I couldn't leave it behind. I too wouldn't want to take it to a pub.

Hi PaulR,

Happy to see that there's one right here in the UK. I'm certainly interested and will be able to judge whether I can put an offer in the coming week. I've not posted enough times to PM you yet, so will just post under this thread when I know.

Bump for a price reduction.

Somewhat regretfully, this is now sold. I was sorry to see it go but I couldn't justify keeping it.
Thanks for your interest.
