OK, I pulled the guitar out and played it.  I should never have done that!  I thought to myself, "What are you doing?  You can't sell this!".  My conscience has gotten the better of me and I've decided the parlor's gonna stick around for a while longer...Sorry to all who had some interest.  If I decide to sell it again, I'll give ya'll first right of refusal

I have decided to sell my P-05 mahogany top in tobacco sunburst.  This is an uncommon version of the hard-to-find MT parlors.  I have removed the pickguard, but other than that it's just like new.  I am looking to minimize my guitar collection and I've made the difficult decision to sell this one.  It has a scratch on the lower bout that I photographed below that I put there with the edge of my guild 12 string with an accidental bump...other than that this guitar is perfect.  We all know how nice these sound so this one needs no introduction.  We also know that Jean does the sunburtsts personally and this adds to the mojo on this one for sure.  Asking $1150.00...   I can send more pics on request - these aren't the best 'cause the sun was at high noon.    There are no scratches, etc. on the top/back, just reflections of the grass...

It rings like a bell, too.  Thanks for the good wishes on the sale...somebody will be very happy with this one.  If it were not for my OM-03MT, I would never sell this one.  Everybody needs at least one hog top!

I know how you feel Justin.  That should sell as fast as my all mahogany parlor did.  It's absolutely stunning!  I didn't know they'd put a pyramid bridge on an 05 parlor before, nice touch.  And I've read that Jean himself does all the sunburst finishes...he did an outstanding job on this one to be sure!

Why oh why did I look at this thread?  Words cannot express how badly I want to own this guitar.  Hog top. 12 fret. It will haunt me in my dreams. 

I don't have the money to buy it,  so I should just go away quietly.  It is so beautiful, really something special.

Please tell me you won't ship to the UK just to put me out of my misery.

I have been playing Larrivees for many years and have owned several but just recently joined the Forum. I had the same difficulty as you and find it puzzling that the prompt does not inform a new member that ten posts are required in order to contact someone. I also just received a message, from the Forum, that I had a personal message yet when I tried to respond to it the prompt said I was not allowed to respond to my own personal message! The message was from "gtrplayer" so if you read this post you will know that I tried to respond but could not. I think is a problem that should be rectified.

Rule No. 1: never play a guitar after you've made the decision to sell it!

Oh Man I was just about to buy this guitar.    Just kidding you Justin.  You know I never pull a guitar after I change my mind.    Only a few times.    I think you made a good decision.  That is a real beauty and I bet it sounds great as well.  Enjoy that little thing.

How you doin' buddy?     I shouldn't have pulled it back out I know...it was calling my name from the closet.    Last night I tuned it up and started playing it, and I made up a new tune almost instantly.  The parlors are great little guitars to grab when inspiration strikes and I seem to make up a lot of new stuff when I play it.  So the verdict was clear:  keep it!

I've got a new D-18VS that has really cured the need (temporarily of course) for another guitar, so I've got something to replace the old Bourgey for a spell.  I still have my eyes peeled for that boutique guitar to end my constant search for the "perfect guitar", but haven't found it yet...The OM-03-12 has been seeing a lot of play time as well.  I've got the parlor, the 12 string and the dread on rotation now - what more could a person ask for???

I noticed you have a guitar with Pete getting a face lift.  That sound really cool.  Let us know how that turns out.  How long does Pete need the guitar to do a new finish?  What type of design did you select?

Peter has no time constraints on my OM, and he's had it for about a month so far.  The more he studies the motif for the work and gets his head around it the better it will be, so he gets free reign on how much time he wants to spend on it.

The design is a secret and everybody will just have to wait and see how it turns out.  I guarantee it's nothing like anything Peter has done before, and it will be very cool when he finishes.  This OM-03MT will definitely be my favorite guitar and surely one of a kind now.  I can hardly stand the wait, but I know it will be worth it!
