Well folks I need to sell some of my guitars to help with a new purchase.   I am putting my 2002 Bourgeois OM and my 1991 Larrivee LS-09 up for sale.  I am going to have them on the forum for just a couple of days before I go to ebay because I need to sell these soon.  Thanks for looking and let me know if you have any questions.

2002 Bourgeois OM  - SOLD

1991 Larrivee LS-09 with sitka top and flamed maple back and sides.  Maple binding with black and white purfling and beautiful mosaic rossette.   Schaller tuners with ebony buttons.  Ebony fretboard and bridge with bone nut and saddle and ebony pins.  This guitar is extremely light and lively.  It has a nice ring to the notes with a solid bass and lot of sustain.  This is a great sounding instrument that has had some years to open up.

This guitar is very clean as well especially for a 16 year old guitar, but it does have an area on the top that was damaged. You will find a few dimples and some scratch, not many though.  The guitar took a fall from off a chair and the top hit a stand in a couple of place near the tail block.   This cause two small cracks and a couple of good dents and a couple of small one.  I took out most of the dents by steaming them out.  I then filled them with super glue and leveled them.   You can see the dents in the photos but you don't see the difference in finish that shows in different light.  It is not a different color but you can see where it was filled.  It is very stable and does not affect the sound and must be in the correct light to see. I also remove a strap button that was on the side of the body just off the neck but still went into the neck block.   I filled it with a small piece of wood and a small amount of glue.  Then a drop of super glue and level it so all you see is a light dot.  It has a little fret wear but not enough to worry about. I also removed a screw in type end pin and did not fill that one, so it has a small screw hole ready for a new end pin.   It is best to ship them without the end pin anyway.

Comes with Hiscox LiteFlight case.

:niceguitar: times 2!  These are hard ones to resist, Wade!  Good luck with the sale...I have traded some guitars with Wade and he's great to do business with...great guy and has good taste in guitars as you can see  :thumbsup.  Still loving the JOMC by the way...just got done playing it.  I'm sure that OM is no slouch either!   These are going to make somebody happy indeed...

So what is the new one you're looking at???

Best,

Thanks for the plug Justin.  I am buying a Beneteau 000-12C.  It is a 000 12 fret with cutaway.  But don't worry I still have another Bourgeois.  I have a one in mahogany and am becoming more of a mahogany man these days.   This rosewood OM is very nice with that great full clear tone that Dana gets out of his guitars.   Don't count this Larrivee out though.  This is nice Larrivee and the first older Larrivee I have played.  It is very responsive and has a sweet tone.  Aren't we crazy selling guitars like these so we can try others.  Where is that endless income. :)

Wade -

I've never heard of Beneteau before, and checked out the website.  WOW...beautiful instruments.  If Don Ross likes them what's not to like!  The impact Jean Larrivee has had on the world of luthiere is nothing short of amazing.  When you get your new 000 let us know what you think.

I put these on Ebay because I need to sell them quickly.  Links are at the bottom of the original post.

Thanks,
Wade

If the Bourgeois doesn't go on Ebay - as in if it doesn't sell, shoot me a PM.  I don't really need another guitar, but Bourgeois OM is my softspot.

Well it doesn't have any bids just a bunch of watchers.  So I believe I can end the auction if one of you two want it.  I don't think it will sit on Ebay long at this low price.

Wade

The Bourgeois sold on Ebay.  The Larrivee is still for sale.  If someone wants it for the $1000.00 plus shipping let me know.  I believe I can cancel the auction without any bids.

Thanks,
Wade

The LS-09 did not sell in Ebay so it is still available.

Thanks,
Wade

I am lowering the price to $900 plus shipping before I go to ebay again.

Thanks,
Wade

LS-09 still available.  This is a fantastic guitar.  It is very lively and responsive.  It is a very light guitar at just over 3lbs.  It has Schaller tuners instead of the Ping tuners and they work great.   I have it priced very low so do let the top bumps bother you.   If you are looking for a great player this may be the one for you.

Thanks,
Wade

Well I am not getting any interest in this one and I just sold the Hiscox case to one on my students.  So I am going to hang on to this one.  :bgrin:

Thanks,
Wade
