As many of you know, I unexpectedly puchased a forum guitar that became available from Bhika.  I made a deal w/ my wife...so now, reluctantly, I have to let my L go.  It is in mint condition, not a mark on it, 30-35 hours of play time on it.  I purchased it on May 12th, from Eddie at Indoor Storm in Raleigh, NC.  The Lifetime Warranty hasn't been registered yet so you get the Warranty, just like buying new...except for the Price.  Oh, and yes, it still smells like it was built yesterday...ummm good.  $700 plus shipping.  Price includes the original HS case.

You shouldn't have to wait too long for a lefty Larrivee to appear for sale here.   Just watch the postings by Bhika.  He's bound to have another one up for sale soon. :humour:  (just kidding Jeff, you know I get the next one)

Anyway, welcome to the forum and here's a little left handed guitar mojo to bring you luck in your search...

thx for the welcome. Yes, Jeff and his lefties for sale.

Actually, I was the "first to buy" Jeff's forum OM 3 mahogany last week. And then, backed off to allow a forum member who could appreciate the history to have it. As Bluesman67 knows, --  because his post offering to buy it appeared within minutes of my withdrawal. (I subsequently deleted my posts). That's how I bookmarked this site and started monitoring it. I did a Google search for LH Larrivee OM-10's and found Jeff's guitar was available here for about a month until you went to LostWages and won some money gambling, and picked her up for like $1400. Is my memory correct? Now, I'm getting hits whenever there is a new lefty for sale on the board. Anyway, you can send me an email if the next time you hit the City Of Lights it doesn't turn out so well.  Thanks. dynapro101@aol.com

Glad to be a member of the LHL fraternity.  :thumb

Yep, that was Tuffy on the Vegas trip.  I was wondering why your posts disappeared.  Dynapro, I owe you a big thanks for not making a purchase, I am very grateful.  Too bad my L wasn't an L-10, then all us lefties would be very happy.  Keep searching for it, you will find it.

I see you decided to forego the "drag your feet / wait and see" approach.   I guess I don't blame you.  Your wife, like mine, probably deserves a lot of credit for putting up with this GAS thing.   I am surprised to see you letting go of the L-03 and keeping 2 OMs even though the OMs are quite different.  Hope the L sells quickly for you.

Yes that was me who relieved Jeff of his Larrivee after a successful trip to Vegas.  However it was an L-10, not an OM-10.   I came very close to buying his forum guitar when he had it up for sale previously but he decided to take it off the market shortly after posting it for sale.  I'm beginning to see that there are quite a few lefty's out there looking for Larrivees coming up for sale.  I remember a time not too long ago when you practically had to special order from a major mfr. to get a top-quality lefty guitar.  Isn't it great that nowadays you can get one of the best made guitars around in a left handed version fairly easily ?

Well, when I told her I loved the new guitar, she said "good, did you decide which one you are selling?"  So, I'm not one to have to get hit over the head several times to get the message, one time usually does it, maybe 2 or 3 on a bad day.  Anyways, I am a bit surprised myself at the decision...but, it was a pretty easy one to make.  I have no doubt at all that the L should be the one to part with.  My rosewood OM is too special and it just speaks to me.  I need rosewood and love OM's.

Bluesman is happy with the mahogany orchestral, and that is cool, but was it "a forum mistake?", that's odd.
17 forum guitars were produced.  2 were supposed to be lefties, but Larrivee mistakenly built 3.  Bhika scooped up the "mistake".

She's gone, sold off Craigslist to a very happy lefty.
