You'll have to wait for the NAMM Show in July for announcements.

Arrgh...waiting sucks... :crying:

I heard through the grapevine that some more walnut and some maple will be used.

oooooh... maple. seriously?

I feel the GAS building already

I think they are going to one up themselves and come out with a double cutaway parlor.

Damn.....between the two L's (Larrivee and Les Paul), I can see my checkbook balance will soon be dwindling.  My wife just rolls her eyes and states that at least I don't ride Harley's for a hobby or play golf.

Larrivee OM or L + maple = the most honest finger style guitar.  But I find Larrivee maple guitars to be more sensitive to environmental changes.

As you can see by the label this one looks to have been sitting in stock for awhile.

Oh my...beautiful. Maybe they are having issues with setting the correct price. That, or they push a different line.

I heard from a friend; who has a friend; who knows a dealer; who knows the company designer that the following models are planned

03 Series - since everyone is arguing about Sapele v's Mahonagny the new 03 will be made with HPL backs and sides that can be custom printed to the wood pattern you prefer at no additional fee!  (the Baltic Pine back complete with imitation knots and holes is a fine choice)....After all whats good for Martin has to be good for Larrivee.

05 Series will now support either a finger joint or a scarf joint centre section that can be added/removed depending on if you need a Dred or an OM (a four part body is planned for Winter NAMM to extend the range to the P and L bodies at an upcharge of cause) After all if Taylor can do it for the neck ..........

09 Series will support a finely inlayed design of feathers on the headstock and 2 unmatched spruce top halves... Jean thought with all the fuss over wings and runout by  Martin owners Larrivee could go one better and actually highlight the wings and the runout as a selling point.....

And finally a new model made from  fire kindling and half burned match sticks... to be known as the flame  guitar.  This guitar will sport an abalone and formica inlay at the 12th fret depicting a burning forklift.  Jean reckoned that if Bob Taylor can produce a guitar from a pallet, claim it sounds great and sell a bucket load of them for over $4,000 he can go one better and still make a killing.

Go Larrivee................................ :humour:

All new larrivee guitars will be short scale, 1 3/4 nut, 0, 00 or 000 size only in 12 and 14 fret and Euro spruce will now be the standard, with an upcharge for sitka.

Low profile necks as well will be standard, but that is not a change...

I may get to buy another..... :thumbsup

short scale?
