Started to pimp my D03-HH with John Pearse KingPins. I just love the deep bass effect that bell brass adds. Nothing about them I don't like. Having said that I havent tried any other types of pins other than the plastic ones originally shipped. Anyone else out there dig brass?

Guilty Pleasure: I also slapped on a Lutehole cover for absolutely no reason other than I thought it looked cool.  So sue me. :whistling:

I bought a guitar with brass pins on it once and I thought it sounded "metalic-ey".  they did add some loudness, but I didn't like the overall sound quality.  I swapped them out for Boxwood.

Tried 'em, didn't care for them at all. I ended up with FWI in one and bone in the other.
