Seems like a killer price for a braz/engleman jumbo, plus the headstock inlay. Anyone ever play any of the Morgan jumbos?

Wow...anybody like Morgan? I've seen a few members on the forum.
Wow! That is an astounding price for the added options especially! If there are no "issues" with guitar's condition, then it is a STEAL of a price!!!
Spmebody, jump on it. Please!
I just sold a Morgan OMV koa wood. David Iannone is one of the best Larrivee 'graduates'.
The OM had a deep mellow tone with exciting low and mid range overtone complexities (the koa / spruce combo no doubt) I can only imagine a Jumbo would be jazzed to the ceiling and back!
That headstock is priceless.
Has anyone dealt with the American Guitar Boutique before?
Just to put it in context, Buffalo Bros is selling a lovely Morgan with inlay

I don't believe Forum rules would allow me to post what their real sell price is upon inquiry, but if you inquire yourself, it will shed some light on the deal that AGB is offering.
Both guitars look like dreams!
Rare to see what appears to be straight grained brazilian rosewood on that Morgan at AGB. That's what interests me...
So has anyone dealt with AGB?
I have played quite a few Morgan guitars and they are definitely "Son of Larrivee" in their design and tonal properties.
On the whole, I can't say that they are any better than Larrivee. I played a few that were great and a few that were average. They do have more of a small shop mojo about them. YMMV
A friend of mine has a Morgan, which I believe is a a jumbo with a cutaway. It's a classy guitar with a high-gloss finish but I personally prefer my Larrivee 03s. The Morgan doesn't have THAT Larrivee sound and the neck binding is a little angular, which I find less comfortable.
Compared with most acoustics, the Morgan would fare very well, so I'm not criticising it per se; I just know I could buy three or four Larrivees for the price of one Morgan and any or all of them would float my boat more than the Morgan. However, if you want a quality non-Larrivee, they're well worth checking out.
I have had my Morgan CCM for a couple of months now and it's a fantastic guitar. There is no doubting the Larrivee influence but Morgans have a uniqueness to them. I think they are a little nicer than Larrivee's, certainly the woods seem to be nicer. The plus of Morgans is you can order different top woods, I actually had a Larrivee LV-05 on order from Notable guitars, but Jason recently became a Morgan dealer and he got in a Morgan CCM which is essentially a LV-05 with sharp cutaway and an englemann top. The englemann top makes a huge difference to the guitar, shame Larrivee only offers sitka tops now. I just wonder if that Morgan Jumbo is Indian rosewood instead of Brazalian, sure seems like an amazing price for a brazilian rosewood guitar with a fancy inlay, if it is it's a great deal.

I have a rosewood/spruce cutaway dread I almost sold once, almost traded once, but now I doubt I will ever part with. It just opened up after about three years and it is a truly wonderful guitar. I don't know why it took so long to open up but HOLY COW! I think they are guitars you may just have to be patient with. Definitely worth it.
